Luxury Wedding At Avalon Hotel In Palm Springs, California

Avalon Hotel Palm Springs Wedding

One of my all-time favorite Palm Springs wedding venues is the Avalon Hotel. Yes, it is easily right up there with the Ace Hotel, Parker, Moorten Botanical Garden, and all the other iconic Palm Springs wedding venues. That is why I was stoked when Wes and Lauren told me they were flying in from Texas with 100+ wedding guests for a destination wedding at the Avalon Hotel. Personally, I couldn’t get 4 people to come to a 80s party at my house even with  free beer and free Doritos. So yeah, these are awesome people. Oh, and did I mention they had an open bar? Honestly, nothing says, “I am a spectacular human being” more than open bar. Below, are some of the wedding photos from that day as well as some helpful info if you are planning a Palm Springs elopement or wedding at the Avalon.

Avalon Hotel Wedding Reviews

I have been photographing weddings for over a decade in Palm Springs and Temecula for over a decade, and in that time have been to some really great wedding venues. The Avalon would certainly fit into that category. Here is are my reasons why. First of all, the The Regency Courtyard at the Avalon Hotel presents a serene setting adorned with olive tree topiaries and the vibrant hues of citrus blooms. This is the wedding ceremony site where most brides and grooms choose to get married. This outdoor space offers a view of the San Jacinto mountains, and includes a 35-square-foot cabana with a raised platform. The best part? It is suitable for smaller gatherings, seating up to 90 guests or accommodating 170 in a theater-style arrangement.

So yeah, I think the wedding ceremony area is rad, but so are the rooms, the front of the hotel with its iconic yellow doors, and the overall vibe of the Palm Springs wedding venue. But don’t just listen to me! Here are some links to where you can read more about this location from real brides and grooms who hosted their wedding at the venue!
