Carlsbad Beach Engagement Photos

Carlsbad California Engagement

When the Temecula valley gets way too freaking hot in the Summer, one of my favorite places to visit and cool off in Carlsbad Beach. What I like about Carlsbad State Bach is that the crowds are not too bad, the people are more laid back than the hipster trend followers in Orange County and the waves are pretty decent. That is why I was stoked when Kurt and Chantelle flew in from their hometown of Seattle and decided to rock a Carlsbad beach engagement session. The weather was sunny and beautiful but since the water was cold I was unable to put on the zebra print speedo and get some sweet salty Pacific Ocean water all over my slightly overweight body (the cold water causes significant shrinkage so unless the water temperature is above 70 degrees I stay out). But that was okay because midway through the engagement session we stopped at Pizza Port off Carlsbad Village Drive where the photo session turned into a drinking IPA session. From Pizza Port to the beach and everywhere in between this Carlsbad engagement session was an absolute blast and I can’t wait for Kurt and Chantelle’s Temecula wedding later this Fall! Here is some of the engagement photography from our time together. Party on!
