Temecula Wedding
I’m sitting on my couch right now trying to remember all the little details from Jessica and Andy’s wedding in Temecula out in De Luz and I’m honestly struggling a bit. The reason: Vegas. Yes, I spent the last couple days in Las Vegas drinking buckets of beer at the pool, single malt Scotch at the craps table and recreational cocktails anywhere and everywhere they were complimentary. Free booze has always been my weakness…So I apologize in advance if this wedding blog post is shaky like the hungover hands typing right now! But let’s get back to Jessica, Andy and their outdoor Temecula wedding!
When I first chatted with Jessica she explained how she left Temecula in 2009 to go to college at CSU, Chico. That was when she met Andy through a mutual friend. From Jessica’s side of the story, Andy was instantly smitten. This became obvious when Andy began sending her text messages of him swimming, doing yard work, playing basketball…basically anything that would allow him to be shirtless and show off the guns. Jessica eventually accepted Andy’s tickets to the gun show in 2013 and the two have been together ever since.
Wedding Planning Thoughts From The Bride
We chose a backyard wedding because we wanted it to be more intimate with just family and close friends. Both of us are very easy going so we just wanted our wedding to be fun and casual. We aren’t really into the huge production, we just wanted the focus to be about us two and our families coming together as one. Plus I’ve always dreamed of getting married at my parents home because of all of the oak trees on their property and just because it’s where I grew up. Luckily Andy is great and let me have my dream.
Wedding Day In De Luz
I rolled out to the De Luz property with my second shooter Emi Fuji, and our first impression was how amazing of a job Jessica and the family did putting everything together. Jessica’s mom was a wedding florist (retired) and did all the florals, which were absolutely stunning. Her father spent months cleaning the property up, building the dining tables out of wood and generally kicking ass with everything. What I’m saying is the wedding decor was fantastic and all created by the family. The first look was setup in front of the house, wedding ceremony was under a giant oak tree in the backyard and wedding reception was under a tent on the side yard. Everything about the wedding was very intimate low stress, which is something I personally very much enjoyed. Below are some of the photographs from Jessica and Andy’s Temecula wedding in De Luz.
My Favorite Moment From The Temecula Wedding In De Luz
This was a really fun wedding that was full of awesome, candid and authentic moments. That made selecting my favorite moment a little difficult, but my personal favorite had to have been when Andy went to jump a fence and got his foot stuck on a wire. The end result was him eating shit pretty bad. Now I am not one to laugh at other people’s misfortune but the way the whole incident unfolded was pretty freaking hilarious. I am just glad Andy didn’t get hurt and still turned up his sexy game for the wedding portraits right afterward. You rock Andy!
Congrats to Andy and Jessica on a awesome wedding! You guys seriously rock! Oh and THANK YOU for allowing me to document your epic Temecula wedding in De Luz. Shit was awesome!
