With Sean and Astrid planning a engagement party, squeezing in time for an engagement session was a little difficult. This is because Sean works the typical Monday-Friday schedule and Astrid works Tuesday-Saturday. That gave us one day to work with: Sunday. And unfortunately, Sunday is a day that I am usually photographing weddings in Temecula or some other location in Southern California. When we finally settled on a date for the photo session the weather forecast said 10% chance of rain, but of course en route to the City of Orange for the engagement session it started pouring. Hard. Naturally, Sean and Astrid were worried the rain would make their photos suck and that their engagement party that was set to take place on a outdoor balcony would be ruined. They were a little upset with the weather Gods at this point in time. I reassured them the weather wouldn’t slow us down and that it would actually present some different photo opportunities. So we started the day drinking. This is because drinking pretty much helps cure everything. After a couple IPAs and glasses of wine those worries about rain went away. And thankfully so did the rain. We may not have got sunshine but we had dry weather and that was more than enough. We drank, we walked, we hit up back alleys, drank some more and kicked ass. Below are some of the photographs from Sean and Astrid’s engagement session in the city of Orange. Cheers!
All engagement photos were captured in the City of Orange in Southern California.
