Being a wedding photographer in Temecula means you take a lot of photographs in the Temecula vineyards, and although this wedding started with the bride and groom getting ready at Ponte winery, the wedding ceremony and reception were at a location called Harveston. Harveston is literally a mile from my house, making it the shortest drive time ever for me to get to a wedding venue which was truly awesome. In fact, if I were not fat and lazy I could have totally walked home from the wedding reception. Harveston is a great little man-made lake and even though I have walked my dogs Sinatra and Lucy there more times than I can count I never really thought about it as a wedding venue. However, it actually was a pretty cool spot and it is really affordable. Of course, any brides interested in booking a wedding at Harveston Lake need to know it will be totally DIY so be ready to save some cash but do a lot of work. Before I blab on and on let me tell you about the people who got married there. Kai is a firefighter who told me that there is nothing he enjoys more than, “spraying his hose on some heat”. I am not really sure what that means but apparently he is also one hell of a ping pong player so that is pretty rad. I too enjoy a good game of table tennis. I also hate hoses. They always seem to kink on me and increase my aggravation level. Shanna, who is now his wife, works for the circus. She apparently trains monkeys to do tap dance routines. I’ve always been more of a dog person myself. Below are the photos from Kai and Shanna’s wedding. Check them out. Cheers to Kai and Shanna!
All photographs were captured at Ponte Winery and Harveston Lake in Temecula, California. Images are copyright protected by Lake Arrowhead Wedding Photography company Rock This Moment. Please send a request via email if you are interested in using any of the above Temecula wedding photos for any commercial applications. However, if you take any photographs without permission I will turn Liam Nesson on you via “Taken”, meaning I will find you and I will kill you. Well I won’t actually kill you, but I will write a very stern email that will use a lot of exclamation points to emphasize my emotions of anger and sadness.
Oh and huge THANK YOU to Emi for second shooting with me! I could not have documented this wedding in the way I wanted to without your help so high-fives to you! That is a photo of her down below.
