Temecula Outdoor Family Photoshoot
Getting old certainly comes with its fair share of negatives like a sore back in the morning and hangover every time you drink a little too much, but there are also many rad things about getting older. First of all, there is the ability to pick your own family care physician (assuming they are in-network), and of course, watching your childhood friends become parents. I have known Brian and his wife Melissa for over 20 years so when they recently told me they were expecting their third child I was stoked for them. They already had two kids and were great parents so I was curious to see if the third child would break them. Just kidding! The goal for this Temecula outdoor family shoot was to really get everyone involved instead of making it the traditional maternity photos in Temecula wine country. That meant bringing in the entire Hoxsey clan! Below are a handful of images from the Temecula family photo session!
Best Locations For Family Photos
One of the more popular questions I receive from clients prior to their shoot is where are the best photography spots in Temecula? The reality is the location really does not matter that much. Sure if we are going to rock the family shoot outdoors it makes sense to utilize the best, softest light. However, the more important thing is to be in an environment where the kids are comfortable. I have found outdoor areas with large open fields are best because when I can feel the kids getting a little restless I can have them run around a bit to burn off the photoshoot jitters. But in-home family shoots are also really great because kids feel most comfortable in their natural environment. So don’t be afraid to skip on the traditional outdoor family session for something more cozy at home!
