For a person who loves art, I find myself in more dark bars than museums, but I have to say that the Museum of Modern Art In Long Beach is one pretty rad place. The only negatives I can say about the museum were that they would not let this Temecula wedding photographer take any photographs in the downstairs portion of the building, which sucked because there was this really cool orange wall I would have loved to use as a backdrop. And the second was that they did not have any A/C going. Basically what I am saying is that the building was hot. Real f***ing hot! Apparently, even the museums are packing heat in the LBC. Anyway, to make a long story short, my good friend Justin over at Inner Song Photography had a situation come up that left him without a second photographer. Since I was not booked for a wedding on this day, I decided to be a hero by helping out and providing him with the eye of the tiger (Duh… Duh-Duh-Duh…Duh-Duh-Duh…Duh-Duh Duhhhhhhhhhhhh). We carpooled together because we love Mother Nature, put on an Ace of Base CD to get the adrenaline going and then headed to Long Beach to shoot the s*** out of Stephanie and Michael’s wedding. Here are the wedding photos that I captured. As you will clearly see, there are no bridesmaids in the photos. If you are thinking that this is because I am gay this could not be further from the truth. In fact, I am happily engaged to be married to my lovely lady on October 5th this year. The reason is because Justin took photos of the girls while I handled the men of Connecticut. Check out the photos. If you like what you see, hate what you see or simply want someone to talk with, drop me a comment!
I would like to send a special shout-out to the bartender who said she was unable to serve me a beer because I was a vendor, but gracefully made an exception when I explained I was not the primary photographer so that should constitute a gray area, a loophole so to speak. Congratulations to Stephanie and Michael! You can tell a lot about a person when they provide an open bar to guests, and that open bar was glorious. You guys rock! Hope you enjoy your honeymoon in viva la Mexico!
