Temecula Photographers Family Portraits

If there is one thing I enjoy almost as much as photography it is talking about photography. I love being around like-minded people and bouncing ideas off them. Hearing about client experiences, workflow, editing and all that shizz. As a wedding photographer in Temecula I think it is important to be familiar with the other artists in the community. This is because I do not see photography as a competition but rather as a individual journey that many other artists are traveling. Therefore, I am a part of many Facebook groups, one of which (a Temecula Valley Photographer’s group) is where I met Nicole. Nicole is a talented photographer in the area where I live and when I announced I would be taking a very small number of clients for family photo sessions she was one of the first people to contact me. I am still very green to this family photo stuff but I enjoy the challenge and most importantly taking a small peak into the lives of awesome people. My family photo sessions are not a portrait clinic with props galore. I strive to document a family as they are. The interactions, the non-smiles, the laughter, the awkwardness, the everything. I hope I did the McCoy family justice in that effort.

Oh and thank you to all the McCoy’s for putting up with 100+ degree heat in order to get this photo session in on schedule. You guys are champs!

Thank you again to Nicole and the entire McCoy family for allowing me into your home and documenting your lovely family exactly as you are. The entire experience was rad!
