Oceanside California Wedding
I have photographed 6 weddings in roughly 15 days and it is safe to say I am starting to feel that creative funk. But when a few days pass and I get to view photographs from a recent wedding like the ones from Trevor and Amanda’s wedding I instantly get re-energized. I love taking photos of people and sometimes it seems just stupid that people pay me to do so for them. But I am human and get burned out because I am not RoboCop, or Superman or Darkwing Duck. I post images on Facebook and Instagram for clients within 24 hours, have about 100 images blogged within about 3 weeks and usually by the end of the month I have all the photos edited and ready to be sent out. It can be a grind and results in me having less time with my family during months like October and May which totally sucks because the reason I started my wedding photography business in Temecula roughly 4 years ago was so I could have more freedom not less. When my daughter comes into my office and wants to hang out I often times have to shew her away because if she is in here she will put batteries in her mouth, tear up my insurance paperwork or spill juice on client contracts because, well, that is what 17-month old little girls do. I am sure most photographers and parents for that matter can understand this. But this is not supposed to be a personal blog post so let me get back to the wedding fun. Amanda and Trevor said “I DO!” at Mission San Luis Rey and then headed to his parents house for the reception. We stopped off at the beach and a couple other places in between to snap photos during their portrait session. I was pretty stoked on the finished product but was bummed I had a wedding the next day so I could not partake in some post-wedding celebratory drinking with these two fine people. Below are the wedding photos from the day. Cheers!
Wedding photos were captured at Mission San Luis Rey and reception photos were snapped up at the home of Trevor’s parents in Oceanside, California. We partied all night and I am sure their was an abundance of hangovers the next morning. But I am pretty sure all good nights come with bad mornings?
