Destination Elopement Palm Springs
Any time I can get to the desert to snap some photos is always a good day, but it is even better when I get to photograph awesome people like I did last week with Matt and Sarah. These two were from the United Kingdom but found their way to Los Angeles due to their work in the entertainment industry. Apparently, they drink tea and eat biscuits with people like Leonardo Dicaprio which is both a little weird and a little awesome. The only tea parties I get invited to are the ones my daughter Vienna has and I still feel like if Mom was at home she would be the only one getting the invitation (B list celebrity in my damn house). So this wedding photography session was a little different than most weddings I photograph in that the ceremony was at Palm Spring City Hall. Matt and Sarah wanted to do a quick and simple ceremony followed by photos in the desert and finally drinks at the Parker Hotel in Palm Springs. Honestly, the whole day was pretty kick ass, and the energy is just so much better when their are less distractions. And by distractions I mean people…like wedding parties of 25 groomsmen and bridesmaids. I really think a law needs to be created that taxes you for wedding parties over 20 people… No more talking now. Here are the photos from Sarah and Matt’s Palm Springs destination wedding!
Also, I for anyone interested (I am looking at you Mom), I started a new photography blog where I am going to showcase more stuff than just weddings so if that sort of stuff interests you feel free to check it out HERE! Thanks for checking out this Palm Springs wedding photo session and may the force be with you!
