Temecula, California Engagement
So my back went out about a week ago which has resulted in me basically laying on my couch and drinking endless amounts of Scotch. And although that sounds like a pretty rad stay-cation in some respects it really sucks because I haven’t been able to workout, take photos or do anything physical. But this isn’t some poor pity me post because I don’t operate that way. I already know I’m going to bounce back and be better than ever because Rocky lost his first bout to Appolo Creed and he didn’t sulk, quit and then open up a sandwich shop in Philadelphia. Of course not. He put those sweet ass patriotic red, white and blue boxing shorts on and got back into the ring and claimed the belt because that’s what champions do! They also run on the beach with their training partner and embrace in the ocean because so much testosterone results in mildly homosexual activity. Which I totally support by the way. But allow me a moment to pivot from the awkwardness and talk about the purpose of this blog post which is Michael and Emily’s engagement session in Temecula, California!
Michael and Emily’s Temecula engagement photo session started at a local restaurant called 1909 in Old Town. This is where we met up and pre-gamed with some craft beers and conversation, something I totally recommend to shake off any photo-shoot jitters. This is also where Michael opened up to me about how he was looking into jazzercise classes so when the wedding comes around he could have the body of a gymnast. I told him he looked fantastic and that we should get together for a jog on a local beach and possibly embrace in the water like in the movie Rocky. Naturally, he immediately knew the scene I was talking about.
After drinks at 1909 we cruised around Old Town Temecula an snapped away before finally heading off to Peltzer Pumpkin Farms in wine country. Since the engagement session was in December the vines were dead, but we still made do with what was available until it got dark. Below are some of the photographs from Michael and Emily’s Temecula engagement session at Peltzer Pumpkin Farm and old town!
Oh and let me give a huge thank you to Marcelline and Mitch for referring Michael and Emily to me! I had a rad time during the engagement session at Lake Cuyamaca and wedding at Hidden Oaks in Ramona! You guys truly are f***ing awesome! But you really need to stop rooting for the Ducks and Sharks because we all know the Kings have more Stanley Cups than both of those franchises combined. Just saying!
