Courtney has been a good friend to my wife for more years than I even know so it was quite the honor when she asked me if I would take photographs of her and her husband Patrick. Although my wife and I live in Temecula we made the short drive to Escondido and met Patrick and Courtney at their home so they could show us their Christmas tree, then we could hammer out the photos and finally get some post-photography margaritas for Taco Tuesday. Now I’m sure you are probably thinking it seems a little strange that I would include seeing a Christmas tree in the chain of events, well let me tell you it is because Courtney is a Christmas junkie. I am talking about going so nuts with decorations on her house that Clark Griswald himself would shake his head and say, “Damn!?” Let’s just say that the Christmas tree was so large it required a special motor vehicle for transportation and those little tree lots don’t even carry Douglas Firs this large. I mean it would not surprise me if a bear was actually still living inside the tree and brought some serious holiday fear one random night. So yeah, here are the photos we took at a little place called Rod Mcleod Park in Escondido, and THANK YOU again Patrick and Courtney for the food and drinks afterward. Cheers!
