Sally & Michaels’ Desert Wedding In The Coachella Valley
The very moment Sally reached out to me about her and Michael’s desert wedding at the Ritz Carlton in Rancho Mirage, California I was pumped about it. Sally is an Aussie so naturally, she likes to party which is something I really think is a great quality in another human being, but she and Michael also have a passion for music. In fact, they met at Coachella back in 2008 and have continued the trek to the music festival every year since together. They love warm weather, cold beers, and hopefully, these Palm Springs photographs from their February wedding only a handful of days ago. Honestly, weddings like Michael and Sally’s desert ceremony and reception are an absolute breath of fresh air because they are genuine. The focus was on the two of them getting married and good times with friends. There was no bouquet toss, grand entrance, money dance, shoe games, or anything like that. They filled up that unused time with more dancing, drinking, and good conversation. Destination Weddings At Luxury Resorts
There are a lot of really rad Palm Springs wedding venues any couple in the process of wedding planning can choose from. Personally, I really enjoyed shooting at the Ritz-Carlton Rancho Mirage, but the property didn’t have a ton of unique spots for wedding photography. However, this tends to be the case in almost all hotel weddings. Ritz-Carlton Rancho Mirage weddings are awesome, but if you are researching luxury resorts or trying to get wedding inspiration then I would encourage you to check out these additional rad properties near Rancho Mirage:

I don’t like to provide wedding planning tips as event planning is not my expertise, but I will say you should speak with all the wedding vendors you are looking to hire. This way you get a good feel for their style, vibe, and energy they will bring on your wedding day. Also, know that even the most well-organized, posh, golf resort wedding can still be stressful at times so be kind to one another. Enjoy the wedding planning process as much as the real wedding day!
