Temecula Creek Inn Wedding Photos

Stone House Temecula Creek Inn

Whenever I post something on social media I always ask myself, “Is this photo awesome?”. If the answer is no I don’t share it. Pretty simple right? Well, when you run a wedding photography business it probably makes sense to post/share the content of images a potential bride would want to see. I mean that is how a photographer stays in business right? Think wedding bouquets, bridesmaids laughing on a bed in their robes, dip kisses in front of a water structure or…you know the boring shit you have probably seen many times before. Unfortunately, my photographic eye finds people partying, wedding guests showing authentic emotion, and brides shot-gunning beers way more interesting. So naturally, that is the stuff I share on Instagram. Is that the best move for my wedding photography business? Probably not. Do I care? Not at all. Thankfully, one of those super artsy wedding photos in Newport Beach of a couple shot-gunning Coors Lights caught the attention of a soon-to-be bride in Las Vegas named Ashley. She saw the wedding photo, reached out to me, told me about her August wedding at Stone House at Temecula Creek Inn, and BOOM we finalized the details to kick ass. The moral of the story is that there are probably just as many brides in the world who enjoy wedding photos of people having a good time as there are brides who want traditional wedding photos so don’t be afraid to be yourself. And if you do then one day kids you can be just like me! And that is a pretty sweet place to be considering I am writing this wedding blog with no pants on and a large slice of veggie pizza on my desk. Also known as, a guy living the dream.

Stone House at Temecula Creek Inn (TCI) is one of my favorite wedding venues in Temecula so I was pumped when Ashley told me that was where the wedding would be. Stone House at TCI is this really secluded wedding venue outdoors that has such a different feel from the other wedding venues in Temecula. But this is not an advertisement for the Stone House at Temecula Creek Inn so let me get back to talking about Ashley and Jon’s awesome wedding! The wedding day started with the bride and groom getting ready at the hotel on the property before we were all shuttled off to the Stone House (which is about a 5-minute golf cart ride away). Ashley and Jon didn’t do a first look so the wedding ceremony had a lot of emotion and some tears. Mostly tears from me though because I have been an emotional pendulum ever since I have been trying to reduce my alcohol intake. I have a Winter body and it is August so that needs to change or the Winter of 2017 I could find myself looking like 2009 Jonah Hill. And let’s be honest that is not a good place to be. Sorry….back to the wedding! The wedding ceremony was lightning fast, we snapped some photos of everyone shot-gunning beers (I hope this becomes a traditional wedding portrait in the near future), the dancing was fantastic, speeches were great, the tequila flowed like wine and a bridesmaid acted as my lightning assistant since I left my light stands in the other car. But honestly, this was a fantastic wedding with really rad people so scroll down and enjoy some of the moments from Ashley and Jon’s wedding at Temecula Creek Stone House!

Temecula Creek Inn – Hand Crafted Weddings

The love story of Jon (groom) and Ashley (bride) started a long time ago! We originally met in high school, but our love story didn’t start then (just a few make-out sessions). We started dating about 4 years ago and we’ve been going strong since then!!!

My fiancé and I were born and raised in Las Vegas so Vegas was the last place we wanted to get married. We decided to check out some wedding venues in California and when we went and saw the Stone House at Temecula Creek Inn we fell in love. Jon is a professional golfer and having a wedding on the golf course was something that we were definitely stoked on.

The groom is a professional golfer who has 8 hole-in-ones with two of them coming on the same day! I don’t even have a hole-in-one playing Golden Tee. Some guys have all the luck!

Stone House Wedding

Located off Rainbow Canyon Road, Temecula Creek Inn is the perfect Southern California wedding venue for couples seeking an event space where the ceremony and reception are held outdoors. What I really love about the venue is that it is really designed to make wedding planning as easy as possible given how guests can stay on property, and everything is essentially included in the investment. Stone House is really one of the best outdoor wedding venues for someone wanting to get married outside of wine country. I highly recommend any couples who want an outdoor, organic wedding take a guided tour of this gem of a location off Rainbow Canyon Rd.
